Day 2 - 7 | maAsai mara

Leave Nairobi behind as you fly into the legendary Maasai Mara, a landscape of sweeping grasslands, scattered acacias and wildlife-rich river valleys. Part of the greater Mara–Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara supports extraordinary concentrations of wildlife year-round, from elephant and buffalo to lion, leopard and cheetah. With several days in the wilderness, there is time to slow down and experience safari properly, early-morning game drives, golden-hour sightings, quiet bush breakfasts and evenings beneath vast African skies. During the seasonal Great Migration, the Mara can also offer the extraordinary spectacle of vast herds moving through the ecosystem.

Set within the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy, Mahali Mzuri offers an intimate safari experience surrounded by wildlife-rich plains and open skies.

The main area brings guests together for relaxed dining and conversation, while the outdoor spaces and swimming pool provide the perfect places to unwind between game drives. Beyond safari, Mahali Mzuri offers guided bush walks, cultural experiences and bush dining. The camp’s setting within a private conservancy also allows an exclusive style of safari.

Angama Mara is perched dramatically on the Oloololo Escarpment with extraordinary panoramic views of the Mara.

The lodge features two intimate camps, a swimming pool, fitness centre, studio and dedicated spaces for dining and relaxation.
