Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, clear customs and immigration before being warmly greeted by a Selara Africa representative. Transfer to Arusha, the vibrant gateway to Tanzania's northern circuit, nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Step into a modern sanctuary framed by coffee plantations and lush tropical gardens. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel and a restful evening as you prepare to venture into the wilderness.

day 2 -3
Ascend into the cool, cloud-draped highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Perched high on the volcanic rim, guests enjoy sweeping views over the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. A dedicated game drive descends 600 meters down into the crater floor, home to an extraordinary density of wildlife including endangered black rhinos, pride lions, golden jackals, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra feeding across lush grasslands.
day 2-3 | Accommodation
Nestled on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, this eco-luxury lodge combines refined elegance with sustainable design. Overlooking one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders, the lodge offers an exclusive retreat where comfort meets conservation.
The lodge features comfortable guest accommodations, attentive service, gourmet dining, and immediate access for early morning descents onto the crater floor before the crowds arrive.
day 4-5
Journey by road to the Ndutu Region, a vital wildlife corridor situated between the southern Serengeti plains and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Comprising acacia woodlands, open grasslands, and seasonal soda lakes, Ndutu supports an incredible density of resident wildlife year-round. From December to March (extending into May), Ndutu becomes the primary calving grounds for the Great Migration. Hundreds of thousands of wildebeest gather to give birth, drawing intense predator activity from lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Daily morning and afternoon game drives capture the wildlife at its most active times.
day 4-5 | accommodation
Moving twice yearly between key migration corridors, TAASA Migration Camp provides luxury tented accommodation directly within the path of the herds.
Featuring spacious canvas suites with private verandas and en-suite facilities, the camp blends classic safari romance with high-level comfort, bush dining under African skies, expert-led wildlife tracking and renowned TAASA Moments.
day 6-8
Transfer to Ndutu airstrip for a scheduled light aircraft flight to Lobo in the northern Serengeti, where you will be met by your expert TAASA guide. Transitioning into TAASA’s private concession, three full days are dedicated to unhurried, tailor-made safari activities. Free from national park constraints, your schedule includes morning and afternoon off-road game drives, night drives tracking nocturnal species like aardvark and bat-eared fox, authentic boma dinners under the stars and visits with local Maasai community. For an unforgettable aerial view, an optional sunrise hot air balloon safari glides over granite kopjes and rolling riverine forests.
