Day 1 - 2 | Arusha
The Tanzanian journey opens in Arusha, the vibrant gateway to the northern safari circuit. Arrive and settle into Gran Meliá Arusha. Set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Meru, Arusha serves as the lush, vibrant gateway to Tanzania’s iconic Northern Circuit. Surrounded by sprawling coffee plantations and fresh mountain air, this historic safari hub offers a rich taste of local culture, leafy avenues, and serene highland landscapes, setting an inviting tone before venturing into the wild.

During the calving season, the plains can become a nursery for thousands of young wildebeest, attracting predators including lion, cheetah and hyena. Outside the peak calving period, Ndutu remains a compelling wilderness of open grasslands, woodland and soda lakes.

Three days in this central hub invite deep exploration of predator-rich territories, following resident lion prides, leopards draped across acacia limbs, and cheetahs patrolling the open savanna in pursuit of resident game.
